Sri Lanka Medical Association 135th Anniversary – International Medical Congress 2022 Pre congress Workshop on Emergency Medicine and Critical care

Ceylon College of Critical Care Specialists (4CS) in collaboration with Sri Lanka college of Emergency Physicians (SLCEP) organizes the first pre congress workshop, as the opening event of the International Medical Congress – 2022, commemorating the 135th anniversary of Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA)
The SLMA is the national professional medical association in Sri Lanka, which brings together medical practitioners of all grades and all branches of medicine. It is the oldest professional medical association in Asia and Australasia, with a proud history that dates back to 1887. The Association aims to provide a forum for its members to further their professional and academic development.
4CS is proud to be part of SLMA’s intercollegiate committee and engage in advocating in the implementation of its healthcare development projects.
This September, SLMA celebrates its 135th anniversary under the timely theme of “Planetary Health and Global Health Security”. In synergy with SLCEP, 4CS brings forth the first pre congress workshop preceding to the main congress, covering hot topics in emergency medicine and intensive care medicine. The discussions will be carried out in different formats including interactive lectures and case-based panel discussions.
We warmly invite all the specialists in all arms of medicine together with their trainees, to join the event and experience the up-to-date expertise being shared, in the fields of critical care and emergency medicine!
