Association of Sri Lankan Neurologists in collaboration with Ceylon College of Critical Care Specialists organizes a specialty update in Neuro-Critical Care in order to uplift the delivery of care towards critically ill neurology patients which is going to be held in the month of July 2021.
Neurocritical care is a rapidly advancing specialty powered with cutting edge technologies which improves the survival and functional recovery of deteriorating patients with complicated neurological pathologies. The spectrum of neurocritical care extends from simple monitoring and treatment of elevated intracranial pressures to complicated management strategies which are titrated to cerebral oxygen consumption and regional metabolism.
Therefore, it is of utmost importance to enhance the knowledge and skills of Specialists and Specialist Trainees of Sri Lanka with contemporary developments in the field in order to reach the international standards.
